\nThis is sport \/ 4 ply yarn, perfect for making finer looking pompoms. Ideal with your Small & Extra Small Pom Maker, but you can also can use it with Medium Pom Maker. <\/p>\n
It comes in a small 20g (0.7 oz) ball – it’s a good size to mix and match diffrent color combinations.<\/p>\n
As a guide, the amount of yarn you’d need to make a pompom with the different size Pom Makers is:
\n5 – 7 g (0.2 oz) for Extra Small
\n10 -12 g (0.35 – 0.4 oz) for Small
\n25 – 30g (0.8 – 1oz) for Medium<\/p>\n
This yarn is thinner than the usual Aran weight we use in our animal pompom tutorials, but you can substitute to create finer texture and details for your designs. Increase the wrap count by x 2 when following our tutorial, or use with a Small Pom Maker instead of Medium. <\/p>\n
